Warhol Design Project

Assignment:

Now that you've learned how to precisely add color to a black and white image, let's apply that knowledge in a fun and personal setting. In this project, you are going to paint several renditions of a picture of yourself and arrange it in a grid. A famous artist that used this technique to develop pop art advertising is Andy Warhol. We are going to mimic this technique to create an original, personal piece of art.

Requirements:

  1. Use one photo of yourself.

  2. Crop the photo to be square.

  3. Duplicate the photo 3 more times.

  4. Change the colors of each photo to create 4 unique photos.

Grading: 5 points each

  1. Photo of yourself (5)

  2. 4 different colored photos (5 each - 20 Points)

Total - 25 points

  6. Add color to the different parts of the picture. Maybe using the Paint Bucket Tool.

  7. Make 4 duplicated image layers using different colors on each.
